You can never have too many cupcakes :)

So many cupcakes.. and all it took was a mixed size circle stencil and scallop edge scissors!

Also sprinkled some super fine glitter on all of them and added some red rhinestones to the smaller ones... afterall who doesn't like a cherry on top!

Stuck a few of them onto the envelope to go with the card.

And the blue bling borders... hmm :) what can I say... I am a bling fan!!

Hope you liked it. Thanks for stopping by and happy day / evening to you!

A little sliver of happiness...

What a month! The Indian festival of lights, a.k.a Diwali has arrived and with it have the crazy discounts at the various craft stores...

Here is my little purchase (it was tough to keep in check and not go overboard... )

Some items are a first... wink of stella clear and distress inks! Can you believe it... I have been into stamping for well over a year and this is my first ever set of distress inks?! :)

Going to watch tutorials and videos and experiment a bit till I don't get the hang of it.

On that happy note, I wish you and your families a very Happy Diwali!

A simple one raised layer card

Green is one of my favorite colors... :) It is so versatile, looks good with purple and at the same it can totally rock a festive green, pink, gold kinda theme...

In this card, I have used a beautiful Inkadinkado rubber cling stamp, glitter coated, and added some punched flowers with rhinestone centers. Also added a few rhinestones onto the design. (A little extra bling is always good, right?!)

The sentiment is stamped using a Micia alphabet stamp set and stuck with a piece of foam. :)

Thanks for looking, happy day everybody!

One stamp, 3 cards

This is my first Magnolia stamp and I was super pleased when I managed to grab this last piece during a sale at a craft store!

It is also one of my favorite stamps probably because I like the whole princess theme going on with the pretty dress et al... but this stamp is called 'Tilda in a cotton dress' wonder why....

So, this post is like a blast from the not-so-distant past... three cards that I made featuring the same stamp this year.

The first one used paper piecing technique for the dress. A few rhinestones a beautiful purple flower-shaped button, a sentiment stamped vertically and there you have it. Simple, but I kinda like it.

In the second one I used neon pink (gasp!) for the very first time... :) Not digging Tilda's yellow colored outfit though... added some punched flowers, a star shaped charm and pearls to complete it.

The third one I think I have managed to color well... :) Used some tiny rhinestones, buttons, twine, mulberry flowers, a washi tape and voila!

I hope you liked looking at them.

Thanks for stopping by! :)

Charmed :)

A bunch of charms that I had ordered last month just arrived.

Plan on using them for cards and mixed media projects, but wasn't happy with the sizes... some too tiny and some too chunky..

Ah well, like they say, c'est la vie! I do have a few ideas... let's see. :)

For now here's a picture of the pretty trinkets that I bought.

Have a happy and bright day!

Black, white and shades of crimson...

Black, white and crimson... isn't it a  perfect color combination?

Another photo card... (I seem to be making a lot of these oflate!)

I created the birthday themed pattern paper (extreme right) on the card using Hero Arts birthday themed stamp set.

I don't know if pictures are clear enough, but I also glitter coated a few of those stamped words in black and red glitter onto the hearts of the pattern paper used in the center to add a little interest.

A matching sentiment stamped in black onto the envelope and the project was complete.

I hope you like it. Have a pleasant day and thanks for stopping by! :)

Another Photo Card

This card was made for a super cute one year old. :) The purple ribbon that you see is a regular satin ribbon, all folded by hand and heavily glued!

Die-cuts from K & Co. and the Happy Birthday sentiment is from a stamp set by Hero Arts. Thanks for visiting!
