Hello! :)
Hope you had a fabulous weekend!
Here is a card that I whipped up, using the oh-so-pretty "Sweet Day" stamp by Penny Black.
I have colored it using water color pencils. (Staedtler Lunas)
I usually pick cool colors and pastels or solid colors like black and red, but this time I picked bright yellow cardstock and layered a yellow pattern paper (bought locally) just to portray summery, happy weather...
The plastic flower button and the tiny plastic charms are from my stash. The tiny bit of ribbon on the extreme top left of the yellow cardstock is a grossgrain ribbon.
I am entering this card in the Lulupu Challenge #47. :) I have used primarily the colors Yellow, Blue, Purple and Pink from the mood board, and interpreted the number 3 by adding three chevron washi tape pieces (blue and pink) to three different sides of the stamped image. I have also used most of the beautiful pastel macaroon colors in the form of small plastic charms attached to the top left of the stamped image with a brad.
Alongwith the washi tapes that I am in love with oflate, colorful U clips have also become my favorite! So economical (100 pieces in a box for around INR 20 - 25) and they come in so many colors.... brights, pastels and metallics! I love them!
I have used the blue chevron washi tape alongwith a Martha Stewart Monarch Butterfly punch to make a quick color co-ordinated envelope.
Thanks for dropping by!
